Choley Bhature  
This is a very popular snack or breakfast. Sumptuous and filling, it gets you going in the mornings. Besides the spicy chhole, it is the bhatura which makes this dish so special. Made with a soft wheat flour, the dough is kneaded with herbs and fermented with yeast very much like a bread dough.
Aloo Puri  
A "puri" is a deep fried flat bread. Rolled out circles of dough when fried in hot oil, swell up with air. Some variation of this bread is found in almost all different regional cuisines in India. The puri is soft and is served with a spicy potato curry. A mango pickle typical to North India is often served on the side. The pickle has a unique fennel flavor and is sold in Indian stores as Punjabi mango pickle.
Each serving is large enough to make for a complete meal or a healthy snack.
Kachori bhaji  
A spicy Indian snack which is a round ball made of flour and dough filled with a stuffing of yellow moong dal, black pepper, red chili powder, and ginger paste; served with bhaji which is essentially a runny vegetable stew.
Vada Pao  
A spicy, deep fried potato dumpling sandwiched between the cheeks of a soft fat pao and slathered with spicy chutney.

Bread slices stuffed with potato masala, dipped in spicy gram flour batter and deep fried
